Q: Who designs the collection?
A: The collection is designed by Lilian & Philippe Jacquelinet, they are based in Aix de Provence in France and recently they sold a percentage of their company to luxury French brand LVMH Group (Louis Vuitton, Moet & Hennesy) Lilian still retains design control of course. Emphasis is on good quality, well made, casual but feminine clothes. All garments are machine washable and you will find that they will last and last from season to season as well as carefully flowing with the following season to ensure style longevity from your wardrobe.
Q: What is involved in having an 'Evening of Fashion'?
A: Very little work on your part really, firstly sit down with a coffee or glass of wine and make a list of all your friends and family who would enjoy an evening of fashion. Get in touch me to book a date, I will then send you some invitations to give to your guests. On the day, I will arrive 30mins prior to set up the collection. A few nibbles in bowls is all that is required, women don't tend to enjoy eating whilst trying on clothes, so the simpler the better really.
Q: Will you help us decide what looks best?
A: Of course, I am not there purely to sell clothes, I know the collection inside out and will be on hand with honest feedback about colour and how the clothes can enhance your body shape.
Q: I don't like to try clothes on in front of other people, could I see the collection privately?
A: A large part of what I do is through 'personal viewings' I have many customers who prefer to view the collection in my home or theirs, privately. They book in a viewing at the start of each season and organise their seasonal wardrobe in one hit. My customers have grown to love the clothes and eagerly anticipate the next stunning collection.
Q: How much do the clothes cost?
A: Prices of the clothes are similar to good quality High Street, current collection pieces start at £33 for a top and £45 for a dress, remember these clothes are designed by a husband and wife team, they are very well made in Europe, with attention to detail. These clothes will remain part of your wardrobe for seasons to come.
Q: If I want to buy some clothes can I have them on the night?
A: My collection is a 'sample collection' therefore I will order exactly the right size for you and a brand new item of clothing will be delivered to you usually within 10 days. More popular items can take a little longer.
Q: Will I earn any money from hosting an 'Evening of Fashion'?
A: Yes, the rewards for hostesses are generous, for instance if you and your friends spend £750 in total on clothes then you would receive over £50 off your bill.
Q: Are you able to bring your collection of clothes to a charity fund raiser or pamper evening?
A: Yes of course, wherever there is a gathering of women then I am happy to bring along the collection, I would give the commission earned straight to the charity.
